The Opportunity:

We are looking for you to join our mission as a security consultant and become part of our mission. Our team of security consultants support clients around the globe to assess and mitigate risks related to their online presence. We expect our candidates to have relevant experience combined with technical and consultative skills required to deliver a broad variety of technically demanding projects. This role is for individuals with previous experience in the field of penetration testing. 

The Role:

• Conducting hands-on penetration testing on web applications, networks, and infrastructure black/grey/white box depending on the project).
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, red teaming, and ethical hacking exercises.
• Pentesting and performing vulnerability research on a variety of devices
• Performing security source code reviews 
• Writing clear vulnerability reports and provide guidance to development teams on fixing security issues.
• Identifying potential threats and weaknesses in products and recommend countermeasures.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and customize assessments accordingly.
• Stay updated with the latest tools, tactics, and vulnerabilities in the cybersecurity domain.
• Documenting knowledge and findings in the form of guidelines, checklists, and examples for development teams.

Security Consultants are expected to:

• Demonstrate relevant experience of at least two (2) years of technical competency, with subject matter expertise in one or more areas
• Demonstrate hands-on technical abilities performing authorized security assessments on a variety of computer systems
• Proven experience in penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and ethical hacking.
• Strong understanding of web application security, network security, and cloud environments.
• Hands-on experience with penetration testing tools such as Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, Nessus, Nmap, etc.
• Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Benchmarks).
• Strong knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.) and automation for testing.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
• Develop and deliver reports related to technical security assessments
• Be proficient in writing technical concepts in business language
• Present findings and recommendations internally and externally to technical and executive audiences
• Be proficient in the use and application of security technologies
• Demonstrate the ability to work as part of a technical team on client projects and engagements

Essential Skills:

• 2+ years of technical security experience, preferable in a penetration testing role
• Excellent technical and non-technical problem solving skills
• Ability to quickly learn new skills in a self-driven, fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Preferably relevant Professional Certifications (Any combination of the below):

• Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP)
• Offensive Security Web Expert (OSWE)
• Burp Suite Certified Practitioner (BSCP)
• HTB Certified Penetration Testing Specialist (HTB CPTS)
